Well today I went and retrieved a trail camera that has been out for a couple of months and couldn't wait to get the footage home. This first video is a compilation of some of the animals using the Wallow back in August.
I then placed a second camera approximately 20 meters away on a preaching tree, and was I in for a surprise when I retrieved the cameras this morning. A cracker of a Stag Preaching.
I sat over the wallow in a blind from dawn to dark the other day and only saw 3 Hinds for the day, but I know the Big guy is out there and he has 3 mates that are almost the same size!! So I will be spending a bit more time in the blind when the wind is just right no doubt.
